What Do Singapore Dog Parents Really Think About Crates & Gates?

We recently ran a poll with 88 members of the Dogs SG community—and the results were more divided than expected. While 38% use gates to prevent door-dashing, nearly the same number (36%) allow their dogs to free-roam 24/7 without issue. A small number see crates and playpens as safe havens, while others only use them during recovery or special situations. And a few admitted they’re worried about safety, but unsure how or where to begin.

💡 It’s clear many pawrents are still figuring things out—and looking for clarity, confidence, and kind guidance they can trust.
