"Hi, I’m Dottydot, a pharmacist turned Pet Nutrition Advisor."
I’m a registered pharmacist with a deep passion for using food as a tool to support healing and prevention. I hold a Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Science, and have earned the Canine & Feline Nutrition Certificate from Southern Illinois University. I’ve also completed canine food formulation courses and have helped both my own pet and clients’ dogs design tailored, balanced diets to match their unique health needs. I help pet guardians make confident, science-based food choices for healthier, happier dogs and cats. I believe that food complements medicine and my goal is to use nutrition to support your pet’s overall health and wellbeing.
"My special interest lies in kidney disease and creating diets that help pets feel their best throughout every stage of life."

Dotty has been amazing in guiding us through our dog Milo’s kidney disease journey. She adjusted his meals at each stage, ensuring he always got the right nutrition for his condition. Thanks to her customised diet plans, Milo is comfortable, active, and still enjoys life’s simple pleasures. We couldn’t have managed without her support."

Our senior Golden Retriever has arthritis, and Dotty formulated a diet to support joint health without losing flavour. He’s moving better, looks happier, and even finishes every bowl! I love that Dotty takes time to understand each pet’s unique needs. it’s more than food, it’s personal nutrition.

Cookie’s surgery was a really stressful time for us, but Dottydot Pet Nutrition Advisor made the recovery so much smoother. The customised home-cooked meal plan was gentle on her tummy, and we saw her appetite and energy bounce back within days.

Important Tips for Pet Owners
One of the most common nutritional gaps in home-cooked dog food is calcium.
Well-intentioned meals made of meat and vegetables often fall short. They’re not ‘bad’, just that balance is about formulation, not appearance.
Calcium is just one piece of a much bigger nutritional puzzle.
This is why both home-prepared and commercial diets need thoughtful formulation to truly meet a dog’s needs

Enhance your pet's kibbles with nutritious toppers.
Boost your pet’s gut, skin, and overall health with fresh toppers! Always check that each food is safe for your pet first.
Here are some simple, healthy ways to make every bowl fresher
-
Boiled Chicken
-
Cooked Salmon
-
Steamed Pumpkin
-
Eggs
Is multivitamin really necessary for your fur lids?
Many high-quality commercial
foods are already complete and balanced according to AAFCO standards. But some pets may still need extra support — especially if they’re on homemade diets, have specific deficiencies, or are seniors with reduced absorption.
The key is balance, not “more is better.”
Too many supplements can actually throw off the nutrient ratio or even cause toxicity (especially vitamins A, D, E, and K).
Bottom line: Choose a quality base diet first, then add supplements strategically — not just in case. When in doubt, check the label and talk to a veterinarian or pet nutritionist

Looking to enhance your pet's health? Start with Omega-3!
From supporting joint mobility to promoting a shiny coat and boosting heart health, Omega-3s are a game-changer.
