Detailed schedule

9:00 – 9:20 am: Registration & check-in

  • Set up a registration table near the agreed meeting point.

  • Check participant names, collect indemnity forms if any, and confirm emergency contacts.

  • Briefly remind participants about leash rules, cleaning up after dogs, and safety.

9:20 – 9:30 am: Welcome briefing & route intro

  • Introduce the organizers and walk leaders.

  • Explain the walking route, estimated duration, water/pee break points, and basic etiquette (dogs leashed, no retractable leashes if possible, keep to paths).

  • Announce timing for games, lucky draw, and group photo so everyone knows what to expect.

9:30 – 10:10 am: Group dog walk

  • Start the walk at an easy pace suitable for most dogs.

  • Appoint a lead and a sweep (one organizer in front, one at the back) to keep the group together.

  • Include one or two short water breaks (5 minutes each) at shaded spots.

10:10 – 10:20 am: Cool-down & goody bag distribution

  • Return to a shaded open area (e.g., lawn or pavilion).

  • Let dogs rest on leash while owners cool down.

  • Distribute goody bags (treats, poop bags, maybe discount vouchers or samples).

10:20 – 10:40 am: Dog-related games
You can rotate 1–2 simple, low-equipment activities:

  • “Fastest sitter”: Dogs compete to sit on cue; do quick heats with small groups.

  • “Recall relay”: Two cones 10–15 m apart; owners call their dog from one end to the other for time (on long lead if needed).

  • Simple mini-“rally” course: 5–6 stations such as sit, down, circle around a cone, weave around cones, short heel to next station (inspired by rally games).

  • Keep each game short (5–7 minutes) and light-hearted, with small prizes.

10:40 – 10:50 am: Lucky draw

  • Use registration slips or numbers given at check-in as lucky draw entries.

  • Draw 3–5 winners for small prizes (pet store vouchers, toys, treats).

  • Take quick winner photos with their dogs.

10:50 – 11:00 am: Group photo & closing

  • Arrange participants in rows with dogs in front; use a wide-angle camera or photographer.

  • Take several shots: whole group, then maybe “small dogs only” and “big dogs only” versions.

  • Give closing thanks, share how they can receive photos (WhatsApp group, Telegram, Facebook group), and remind them to leave the space clean.

Limited slot for 50 pax+fur kids only. Register early to avoid disappointment!
