Overview: Chalets, Bungalows & Pet‑Friendly Options

CSC operates a range of chalets and bungalows across locations such as Changi and Loyang, with different sizes and configurations. For pet owners, the highlight is the dedicated dog‑friendly bungalows (at CSC @ Loyang), designed so your fur kids can safely join the holiday.

Bungalow facilities For Pet Owners And Their Dogs

Beyond the bungalow itself, the surrounding grounds and coastal location are a big part of the appeal. Many pet‑friendly units enjoy:

  • 4 bedrooms with air‑conditioning and comfortable bedding.

  • A living room with space for dog beds, crates, or playpens.

  • Quick access to the beach for swimming. Great for morning and evening walks, sniffing around, and gentle play on sand.

  • Outdoor dog shower facilities so you can wash before heading indoors, including hair dryer at the living room.

  • Spacious BBQ area with outdoor dining, sofas, and bench seating

  • A sheltered patio area to relax with your dog and keep them close by.

  • A fully equipped or basic kitchen with fridge, microwave and kettle.

  • Enjoy a cookout while your dog relaxes nearby, instead of being left at home.

  • Nearby water sports (kayaking for humans) activities like kayaking or stand‑up paddling may be available, adding variety to your stay.

  • Chill out nearby Ohana bar in the evening or play Padel ball within the premises.

Why These Stays Benefit CSC Members And The Public

For CSC members and public officers:

  • Adds strong lifestyle value to membership, especially for pet‑owning families.

  • Encourages healthy, outdoor activities by the sea.

  • Provides a safe environment where pets, kids and adults can relax together.

For the public:

  • Fills a real gap in pet‑friendly staycation options in Singapore.

  • Offers a controlled, rule‑based setting that balances pet inclusion with cleanliness and safety.

  • Opens the doors to discover more of CSC’s wider facilities and community programming.

Always check the official CSC chalets website or contact them directly for accurate, up‑to‑date pricing and pet policies.

What To Know Before You Book With Your Dog

To keep things smooth for everyone, expect some typical pet‑related house rules:

  • Only dogs (up to 4 dogs per unit) may be allowed.

  • Dogs must be leashed in common areas and under owner supervision at all times.

  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, indoors and outdoors.

  • Certain breeds may be subject to restrictions under local regulations.

  • A refundable deposit or additional cleaning fee may apply.

Who Can Book And Why It Matters

One of the biggest perks of CSC’s bungalow and chalet operations is that they’re not limited to civil servants only. While members and public officers usually enjoy preferential rates, many units are open for public booking too, making them a rare mix of value and exclusivity.

For club members and public officers, these pet‑friendly stays:

  • Encourage family bonding and active lifestyles by the sea.

  • Make club membership more attractive, with tangible, pet‑inclusive benefits.

  • Help build a stronger sense of community among pet‑loving members.

For the public, they offer:

  • An affordable way to experience a resort‑style coastal staycation.

  • A legal, structured option for pet‑friendly accommodation, which is still limited in Singapore.

  • Access to facilities like BBQ pits, nearby pool and beach or sports options within the wider CSC network.

Reading and respecting these rules is key to ensuring the pet‑friendly scheme continues and can expand over time.
