The "Buddy" Community that Cares
Project "Buddy" is a non‑profit community project run by Dogs Singapore to help pet‑owning members find fellow members who are willing to provide pet‑care support (e.g., dog‑sitting, in‑home visits, walks, or temporary foster‑style care) when owners are away.
Dogs Singapore only facilitates connections and information sharing; it does not regulate service quality, arrange bookings, or handle any money‑related transactions between Buddy and owner. Pet owners engaging pet care services should remain vigilant.
How to qualify as a Buddy Member
1. To list a Buddy on Dogs Singapore, meet these minimum criteria:
• Full name and contact method
• Must be a verified & active member of Dogs Singapore.
• Type of help: Part time/full time
(eg: housewife/retiree)
• Your prefer location to help
(e.g.,Toa Payoh & or any location).
2. Basic profile requirements
Preferably include in their public profile:
• Type of help offered (e.g., “dog‑sitting at home”, “daily walks”, “in‑home visits”).
• Species and size range they are comfortable with (e.g., “small dogs only”, “cats and small dogs”, “all sizes”).
3. Experience and knowledge
Buddy should indicate at least some of the following (as self‑declared):
• Own pets or have past pet‑care experience.
• Basic knowledge of feeding, exercise needs, and basic first‑aid or etc
